Hailing from the northern beaches of Sydney NOMAD are relatively new kids on the block having just celebrated their first birthday. Their brewing team headed by Brooks Carretta however have a wealth of international brewing experience having brewed with legends such as Sam Calagione from DogFish head. Putting this experience and expertise into practice to create some great classic styles but pushing the boundaries with experimental and rarely seen styles.

Cruisin’ Aussie Ale

“Brewed with a combination of Aussie and German malts and some classic Aussie hops to bring you an approachable, sessionable but satisfying beer. Bursting with Aussie flavours and represented by the burnt orange colours of Uluru, grab this little slice of Oz and come cruisin’ NOMAD style. Galaxy hops were added to obtain the much loved tropical fruit notes (mango, passion fruit). “

Stone Brewing/Nomad Collaboration aiRYEvil Red Rye IPA

Rye is known to deliver somewhat of a peppery spiciness to beers and is usually added at around 20% of the total grain bill to really come through, which is exactly what we did to benefit from Rye aromas and flavors. The hops come through big and resiny, West Coast Style! This collaboration will be one to be remembered for sure.

Sideways Pale Ale

Intensely hopped pale ale, bursting with the scents of Aussie and American hops. Brewed for that hop loving experience and to show that low ABV should not mean low flavour. This beer tastes big and drinks like a beer at twice its ABV, but will be nice to you as the night moves on.
If you love hops then this is your beer! Our ultimate summer session Pale Ale.

Freshie Salt & Pepper

“Traditionally Goses are slightly tart, savoury and spicy ( coriander), and light in body and ABV. At Nomad we tried to get as close as possible to traditional Gose as far as malts, yeast and salt dosage and we obviously gave it our very own Italo/Aussie character adding sea water and Tasmanian pepper.”

Jet Lag IPA

“Brewed with a combination of pale and caramel malts plus tonnes of American and Aussie hops, including the newest “Victoria’s Secret”. Combine this with a few unique Aussie ingredients to finish off, including dried finger lime peel to deliver a fantastic citrusy Zing. A tropical fruit IPA, expect balance between malts, hops and flavours. “
